Changes
In high school I used to go to this trail with my friends. I remember when it was snowing my friends and I went there and rolled around. It's so fun looking back at photos from that time, it seems like yesterday! Sometime I'll have to dig them up and show you all.
Back in the day there was this awesome tree house at the top of the hill, it was so neat! Unfortunately it's fallen apart since then... It's so sad to go back and see all of the changes. They even made a parking lot and a public restroom for it! Everyone used to just park on the side of the road, it was pretty weird seeing all the marked parking spots and how many cars filling up the lot. Anyway, on to some more outfit pictures,
What I'm wearing:
Vintage dress, etsy
vintage clogs, Canyon River Blues, ebay
floral crown, handmade by me
It's crazy how so many things can change over the years, really makes you think about yourself and how everything is so different! Maybe in 5 years there will be some giant theme park in the center of it all, I HIGHLY doubt that but you never know!!
xo,
Kala Noel.

You look so beautiful :) I love the etsy dress--it's in such a wonderfully rich blue, and the detailing is so dainty. I'm just so in love with these pictures, especially after learning that that trail holds great memories for you. :) Super lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress and fab location.. I always find it odd how places change even though you remember them so differently and it feels like no time at all has gone by.. xx
ReplyDeletevery pretty there love it! the shoes are smashing too.
ReplyDeleteDarling Kala, you look beautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteThe other day, I drove my car to my old neighborhood and ventured to the forest I used to frolic in.. in place of wildflowers and ladybugs was cultivated land, tamed, dried up, burnt grass..
Things change, and now I go to the railroad tracks instead.
It's scary to think of how quickly changes occur, to see the impact.
Lovely!

Your dress is so dreamy and pretty! It is sad to see things change so much in a matter of year. Let's hope they don't put a theme park in that pretty little park:)
ReplyDeleteLovely dress. That blue tone is amazing! Time will pass and things will change but we will always have the memories to revisit. Enjoy them!

Lovely dress! I know what you mean about changes though. I go back to my home town every few months and the changes from when I was a little girl really hit. It's hard letting go of places where you had good memories when they start to change with time, it's almost like a place isn't the same place anymore at all.
ReplyDeletesuch a pretty outfit!
ReplyDeleteThat floral crown looks absolutely darling! x
ReplyDeleteFirst I love your blog, it´s always so nice to visit, thanks!
ReplyDeleteSecond I was wondering if you would like to make a tutorial how you made your flower crown it´s amazing!
I have been thinking of making one myself, but I really don´t know where to begin or with what kind of material.
Have a nice weekend!
