A day at the park

The other day my mom and I took a walk at the park. The weather was so beautiful! I was feeling rather "chic" that day with my velvet and faux fur blazer, maxi skirt and lace up booties... Not necessarily "park appropriated" but I rarely ever dress down for anything.

there was a cute little bridge over a small pond where ducks were swimming, it was adorable! I tried to get some photos with them in the background however, they all flew away when I came too close.

What I wore:
velvet & faux fur blazer, vintage shop.
maxi skirt, thrifted, salvation army.
lace cardigan, thrifted, goodwill.
booties, thrifted, goodwill.

Achieve this look by pairing a sheer black or grey maxi skirt with a delicate lace top and blazer, add a plum or bright lip with light metallic shadows to make this look Spring friendly. Throw on a pair of booties or rock this look with wedges!
If you're anything like me when it comes to fashion you'll know that black can be worn year around as long as it's paired with the right accessories! I made sure to wear spring friendly makeup and jewelry to keep this look chic and flirty.

I'm looking forward to spending many more days at the park this spring and summer!

Kala Noel.

  1. Wow beautiful outfit. That velvet jacket is incredible. Looks fantastic on you :)

  2. I'm not sure what "park appropriate" is, but I think it's never out of the question to dress up for nature. And this look is totally bitchin', it's kind of 1900's lady meets 1990's rocker, or something like that. :)

  3. Just found your blog through Amanda at Upside of Wonder! So glad I did, you are adorable!

  4. Wow, what an outfit! I just love the blazer! I'm about to start following you on bloglovin' - your blog is amazing!

  5. I hope you don't find this entirely creepy, but I think your blog might be my new favourite. I may or may not have just read its entire back archives.

Your hair is a dream, and this outfit is so proper, yet has a wonderful Patti Smith-esque punk look about it. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.

  6. this is such a gorgeous outfit. I adore sheer pleated skirts at the moment. xo

  7. I found your blog through Selective Potential and I'm so glad I did! Your style is amazing. :)
