Portland City

Hello everyone! About a month ago I took a short trip to Portland and snapped a few photos while I was there. These photos happen to be the last group I took with my long side sweep bangs. A couple weeks after this I got a little scissor happy and chopped them how they've been for most of my life. Who knows, I'll probably grow them back again and "try" something "new"... Bologna.

This dress happens to be one of my favorites! I purchased it while in Portland for the New Year. While there Bruklyn and I visited with the lovely Annie and graced the many wondrous vintage shops of SE Portland. What a dream it was! I look forward to visiting the city throughout the summer. Hopefully I'll find some more treasures like this along the way. Oh and did I mention it was only $18?! Yeah, total score.

what I wore:
vintage dress, Red Light
vintage cardigan, thrifted
vintage hat, thrifted
leather belt, thrifted
kilim bag, ebay
rust tights, JC Penny
oxford heels, gifted from Brukyln

Anyway, The next while is going to be a little tough for me. I'm saying goodbye to one of my best friends who will be moving out of my house and into a place in Portland (I'm sensing a theme for this post.) I'm very sad to see him go but I'm also SO excited for him to explore a bigger city and have plenty of opportunities this small town does not have to offer. I'm very awful with goodbyes but I know that we'll remain in each others lives and I'm sure we'll be visiting with one another as much as possible. What are some new things happening in your life? I'd love to hear!

xo, Kala Noel.

  6. Such a lovely outfit! The hat and your bag are my favourite. Good luck to your friend with his big move, it's exciting - just think, you'll be able to explore it all with him if and when you visit! My boyfriend recently moved to Edinburgh for University so getting to visit him there is amazing, being able to explore new places is such fun!
