Lilac + Coral


Bailey has been coming along on many photo shoots lately. She has been managing to make her way outside and sneak into the car. While my mother was taking some photos of me she jumped onto my lap to join in on the fun. She is definitely NOT camera shy.





I absolutely love my new vintage Ralph Lauren umbrella. Isn't it cute? My mother purchased it at a yard sale.




One of my favorite color combination's as of late is lilac and coral. They are such striking colors and go perfectly together! Purple is one of my favorite colors and just so happens to be one of the best looking colors with my skin tone. I found this dress at Salvation Army and fell in love with how it looked. A friend of mine showed me this beautiful coral lipstick and I just had to have it. I put this look together before buying the dress based on the color combination. I really love how the finished product came together. Perfect for this warmer weather, right?

What I wore:
Lilac dress, thrifted at Salvation Army.
Vintage slip
White Mountain Clogs
Vintage Ralph Lauren Umbrella
Coral lipstick, volcanic, L'Oreal (highly recommended! It goes on sooo smooth.)

What are some color combination's you've been enjoying lately? I'd love to hear! I have been trying to wear more color. For a while I was stuck in a black and white rut. Not that I don't LOVE black and white, I absolutely do... however, color is so much fun and perfect for the warmer seasons!

    Wow, nice thrift find. I actually just purchased a lovely vintage, cotton eyelet dress in just that soft colour of lilac.
