Stripes and Flowers



It's one of the greatest feelings to reach into your closet and pull out a dress you wore in Highschool and still feel satisfied with your purchase! This is one of those dresses I've had since my Sophomore year!




Bruklyn and I have been spending a lot of time outside in the nice weather looking for pretty places to soak up the sun and snap photos. Yesterday we found ourselves in Ashland enjoying a delicious late lunch, long drives and an icecream run! The outfit was SO fitting for the occasion.




I hope to have this dress for many more years! What are some items you've had in your closet for years and still love? I'd love to hear about them!

    I have this olive green tapestry purse with mustard and red flowers on it...AND IT'S HUGE! I love it till this day...I think I'm going on 10 years of having it? I love that hem line.

    What a pretty + lovely dress! No wonder you've kept it for years :) My style has changed a little bit over the years so I don't have much left from many years ago, but one of my goals will be to try and only buy pieces that I will love and wear for years to come! x

    i am in love with this dress. the bottom detail is the icing on the cake.
    what a wonderful purchase.
    i didn't really kept anything from high school..it has been 10years since i graduated so the late 1990's were kindof horrible for me style wise..haha.

    This is a perfect spring afternoon outfit! I love your tights and shoes too :) I just did a dress inventory of my closet and I realized I have MANY a dress from my fashionable high school days..but none that I'm in love with...maybe I should get rid of them but like I used to feel for my stuffed animals...I don't want to hurt their feelings, I don't want to give them away...
